BSA Venture Crew 47

Venture Crew 47 is a coed youth group that has youth from the age of 13 (and out of 8th grade, or 14) to 20 years of age. We are registered members of the Boy Scouts of America and utilize the means and methods of scouting to explore new adventures of various types.

Since we formed in October of 2003 we have ventured to many amazing places, both near and far, including Devil's Lake, Eagle Cave, The Boundary Waters, The Apostle Islands, and Sea Base!

We are focused in Sun Prairie and Madison, WI. Our meetings are occasionally at our host church - Our Saviours Lutheran Church at 550 Lincoln Street in Sun Prairie, WI. However we are currently meeting in the basement of the Messiah Lutheran Church at 5202 Cottage Grove Rd in Madison, WI.

Currently we are meeting every first and third Sunday of the month from 5:00pm until 6:30pm. Our Committee Members also meet from 5:30-6:30pm on the first Sunday of each month. (With exceptions when Holidays conflict, etc.) Please check out our calendar for more details.

**We still need someone to fill the position of Activity VP and Quarter Master. Quarter Master is easy and you just help make sure we have all the gear we need to each outing.
Activity VP is a great position, where you get to make sure that we are doing the fun things the crew members actually want to do! Please let Jessica, Mark or Danielle know if you are interested.**
